Privacy Policy
v1.0.0
1. Information We Collect
We only collect what you give us, plus a little basic visit data. If you join our waitlist, that's your email address. If you use the contact form, that's your name, email, message, and optional company. When you visit the site, we also receive standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you viewed. We don't currently use cookies or tracking technologies. Joining or contacting us is entirely your choice — if you don't share your email, we simply can't add you to the list or reply, and that's the only consequence. Please don't send us sensitive personal details through the form.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to send waitlist updates (only if you opted in), to reply to your messages, to set up any call you book, and to keep the site working and secure. For waitlist emails, our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw anytime — withdrawing won't affect anything we did while it was valid. For replying to messages and keeping the site secure, we rely on our legitimate interests in running a helpful, reliable service. We keep waitlist emails until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and contact messages for up to 12 months after our last exchange. We don't make automated decisions about you.
3. Sharing Your Information
We only share your information with the trusted tools that help us run the site, and only so they can do their job for us — hosting (Framer), our waitlist email provider, and our scheduling tool. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Some of these providers are based outside the EU/EEA; when your data is transferred internationally, we rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
4. Data Security
We take sensible, reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. That said, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is ever completely secure, so please don't send anything sensitive through the form.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy of what you gave us — and you can unsubscribe from our emails anytime. Just email us and we'll respond within a month. If you're ever unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can contact a data protection authority — in Ireland that's the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie); elsewhere in the EU, it's the authority in your own country.
6. Third-Party Links
The site may contain links to third-party websites and tools that we don't operate, such as our booking page. We're not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these sites, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.
7. Children's Privacy
The site isn't intended for anyone under the age of 16, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, please contact us and we'll remove it.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated version and date, and we'll let you know if anything important changes. We encourage you to review it periodically.
9. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us at privacy@knotpath.com
